48V 20AH Lithium Ion Battery
48V 20AH Lithium Ion Battery is suitable for electric bicycles with rated voltage 48V and rated power ≤ 500W. The battery pack (according to QBT 2947.3-2008 standard) is composed of 18650 cells in series and parallel connection (including protection board). The battery pack has the characteristics of green environmental protection, strong kinetic energy, high energy ratio, ultra long cycle life and safe use.

1. Product Introduction of 48V 20AH Lithium Ion Battery
Characteristics of lithium ion batteries:
One-third the weight of a lead-acid battery;
More than 2000 deep discharge cycles, compared with about 300 for lead acid;
Use capacity is larger than similar ampere-hour lead-acid battery;
High discharge rate, 10C continuous, 20C pulse discharge;
Unlike lead-acid batteries, they can be partially discharged for long periods of time without permanent damage;
Self-discharge rate is very low, about 1~2% per month.
No "thermal runaway" will occur. It is controlled by a special component called the PTC insert (positive temperature coefficient). When the temperature is too high, the PTC cools by increasing its resistance, and the current gradually drops until the internal temperature returns to normal.
It can be used safely at a wide ambient temperature of -20 to 60℃ without degradation of performance.
Can be connected in series for higher voltage or in parallel for higher capacity.

It does not contain any toxic heavy metals, such as lead and cadmium, nor any corrosive acids or alkalis, so LiFePO4 batteries are the most environmentally friendly battery chemistry;
Safety recommendations
The SOA of lithium-ion batteries is constrained by current, temperature and voltage.
If the charging voltage exceeds the recommended value, the LFP battery can be damaged and catch fire.
The LFP cell can be damaged if it is allowed to discharge below the recommended cut-off voltage.
If the operating temperature is outside the recommended range, LFP battery life can be significantly reduced.
If the discharge current is too high or the charging speed is too fast, the life of the LFP battery may be reduced.
