Many people don't know much about lithium-ion batteries or the difference between fuel-powered lithium-ion batteries and lithium-ion batteries. How is it decided during the selection process? The following is an analysis of these two power sources.

Fuel-powered lithium battery is a kind of power generation device that directly converts chemical energy and oxidants in fuel into electricity. It involves the theories of chemical thermodynamics, electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, material science, power system and automatic control, and has the advantages of high power generation efficiency and less environmental pollution. Fuel-powered lithium batteries have a wide range of applications, not only in aerospace, power plants and other fields, but also in motor vehicles, mobile equipment, home and other fields. Early development of fuel-powered lithium batteries focused on specific applications, such as distributed power generation above the space and kilowatt levels.

The first car in the world to use lithium-ion batteries was the 2009 Mercedes-Benz S400 hybrid, and a growing number of other automakers are starting to do the same. In the next 10 years, about 86% of the world's electric vehicles will be powered by lithium-ion batteries. The Lithium-ion battery is the core power lithium-ion battery of electric vehicles. Compared with mature lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries have strong energy storage capacity per unit weight, low price and are basically non-toxic. Therefore, currently new energy vehicles generally tend to use lithium iron phosphate and lithium manganese acid lithium ion batteries. It has the advantages of high energy consumption, long service life, light weight, green and environmental protection, but it also faces some technical problems.
